'Don't fuckin' touch me!'

One of the tasks we were set to do during the Christmas holidays was to create an 'angry document.' We had to speak to four different people and age groups and find out what really made them mad, like madder than Liam Neeson in Taken.

Because I asked people over text I had the bright idea to include emojis into my document, but enough rambling about it- enjoy some pictures of my favourite pages.
(I'll update the pictures on this when I print it in the correct format, blasted printers and my inability to speak their language!)
I actually really enjoyed making this and putting it all together and stuff, y'know. Even though it was done at four am after downing copious amounts of coffee.

This is also the beginning document in a relay with a partner, she'll send me her document and I'll create a response and send it back and she'll send me her response and we'll keep at it until we've created 22 pieces of work that all relate to each other in a roundabout way.

Redesigned

I've not been very good with this whole blog thing, I know. (I'm ridiculously forgetful, it's a curse.) I also realised how awful (really, really awfully awful!) My blog looked so i've redesigned it.

It's not great but it'll do for now whilst I go to these workshops that Uni are holding to teach us how to create our own actual website on Dreamweaver. Eek. First step to professionalism and i'm not putting it off or scared at all, promise.

Anyway, I'm going to be putting work up from my second term at uni considering I've been awful at keeping up with this during my first term. I mean, I was struggling with missing my dog, my parents, my best friends and of course, my boyfriend like crazy and realising that getting drunk 5 days consecutively was always pretty much always a bad idea.

Me, a designer?!

So hi,

I'm Raiden and I'm a first year Graphic Design student at UWE (University of the West of England) which I'm still struggling to get to grips with, even though in about three months my first year will be over. I still feel like a dorky fourteen year old with a dodgy haircut, braces and an unhealthy obsession with pokémon, so the sudden moments of realisation where I realise: 'shit, i'm a uni student!' is still insane to me.

I feel like I've been shoved down an Alice in Wonderland-esque rabbit hole filled with different twists and turns, Apple Macs, alcohol, different artists, different types of media and a whole lot of graph paper. To try and keep a grasp on reality and to not miss anything, I'm planning on documenting my time and work during my life as a uni student.

Here's hoping you enjoy my journey/self discovery and the hopeful hitting the floor of my metaphorical rabbit hole.

Bye x
